Stuck downloading mods ark

 · #1 ARK: Survival Evolved Download Stuck at 99%. This issue happens because of the Steam Overlay, the game download is complete but the Steam blocks. Ok so, Today I decided to install ark again, And play on a modded server.. It downloaded the first 2 mods, then after its stuck on Preparing to download mod.. It says in the right corner "installing 1 mods (Ark eternal Live) Tried multiple fixes already they all dont work. Fixes I tried: Unsub from the mod, Restart PC, Cleared mod folder. I run a server with about 25 mods. My suggestion is get that list of mods and subscribe to them beforehand. Let steam download them. Then once you launch ark it will install them. This could take up to half an hour depending on the mods. Once that "installing" goes away try to join the server. So for the past month roughly my Ark download/update has been stuck on verifying no matter what I do. It'll get pretty much completely done with the update, say Gb out of GB and just sit on verifying forever. No amount of waiting fixes it, I've had it sit for DAYS sometimes just waiting to see if thats the issue.
